Firstly: I love this. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the hair.
Secondly: The advert that came up on this page was 'Neil Gaiman wants to work with you'. I found this so funny.

OMG! So cool! I'm going to figure out that yarn for the hair, since his hair is what really makes him! Sweet pattern, thanks for sharing it!

Thank you  Someone pointed out to me the other day that this sherlock's-hair-yarn is called bouclé yarn. If it can help you find some...

You should consider selling it on Etsy or something. It's a good pattern and well explained with the photographs and such.

Oh thank you for thinking that's worth selling! But I don't actually want to bother with etsy!

Any reason why not? (just curious :) )
You could also try artfire or ebay or something.
Or you can keep giving it away for free, I'm sure no-one minds :D
But you could make money with it!

With etsy you have to pay for each thing you want to sell even if nobody buy it AND it only stays for a month or so and I don't want to freely give etsy money every month...
I haven't thought a lot about ebay, but it's true that's a possibility. About artfire, I didn't know it at all (but it seems that you have to pay a monthly fee (about $15) after a 14days free trial.)
Anyway, this one will remain free and I'll think about it again if I'll make another pattern :)

Thank you so much for this pattern, it's adorable! I have not crocheted in years, and I only made one little doll like this before, but I'm absolutely going to give this a try after school ends this semester :)
